Day 8: Which band whould I give anything to see
Muse, they’re by far my favorite band, even though I’ve seen them live before I’d still do anything to see ‘em again. But if ya want a band that I haven’t gotten to see yet, it’d probably be between Arctic Monkeys and Meg and Dia/ Dia Frampton. They’re odd bedfellows but those are the two groups, outside of Muse that I constantly find myself falling back to and never growing tired of their music, plus they’re both really good live.

I will miss you on TV. Since season 3 ended my interest has started to wain a bit and the standard has slowly declined, but that last episode reminded me of everything I loved about that show. Maybe it was all the nostalgia, but it was a truly satisfying conclusion that, I’m a little ashamed to say, brought me very close to tears.
a friend reminded me of this song and now I can’t get it out of my head. This is how you cover a song. Truly beautiful, in every meaning of the word.

Trevor Hoffman’s Number 51 Retired and me gushing about him
so That induction ceremony was awesome. It was old fashioned and hokey, but so is baseball, and that’s exactly why we love it. And there are few players today or ever before that played with the integrity and intensity that Trevor Hoffman displayed every day.
